City Fest 2013
City Fest is a free annual festive event that invites local businesses, community groups and EKU colleges and departments to showcase their products and services. During this event, students can learn about local resources, EKU student organizations, and how to get involved on campus and in the community. City Fest 2013 was held on September 19th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Powell Plaza.
We must proudly admit that ISA rocked!!! We welcomed our visitors with a warm plate of Kabsa (traditional Arabic food) and a refreshing cold cup of soda and we entertained them with a variety of activities. Our free Henna tattoo stand attracted a long line of people to get their favorite designs tattooed on their body. Visitors also enjoyed trying on different traditional customs from different countries and have their photo taken. We handed out chocolates, bookmarks, and origami as a goodbye gift
If you did stop by our table, we want to thank you again and hope that you enjoyed. If you couldn’t make it to the City Fest, make sure to mark your calendars for our upcoming events and join us for some fun!
